In this video clip, a National Geographic "renowned dog behavior expert" kicks a dog in the abdomen to provoke a reaction, then hangs the dog in the air until his tongue turns blue, and he is thus "subdued."

Since posting this link in July 2009, National Geographic either changed the link, or took down the video entirely. You can see in this clip, the trainer kicks ("just very lightly touch to redirect") the dog with his roller blades. The first kick at 3:00 appears to have been edited out, but another is demonstrated at 3:11. It begs the question, redirect at what?

Here's an example of dog showing huge stress markers that is described as "really feeling good." HERE Probably what most behaviorists would describe as flooding.
